I thought it might be fun to give away an EP of material which was made around the time I got a bit obsessed with circuit bending. It’s free because I can’t see the tracks being picked up for a ‘proper’ release any time soon due to a combination of them being very silly and me being shit at getting my music out of the house and into peoples heads.
There’s no fancy mastering and no artwork (well, apart from the neon mess up there), just a bunch of tunes and some fucking up of some simple noise making technology. The circuit bent parts of the tracks are created with modded home/toy keyboards and drum machines. There’s also a bent buddha box and a Barbie delay (from a barbie karaoke machine) in there. I made recordings of the various bits of kit and then went about using them along side some other drums, noises and melodies, sequenced in a more ‘traditional’ way. Fun for all the family.

Well hello there, been a while.
I’m going to try posting a few updates over the festive period. We’ll see how that pans out. Believe it when you see it.
Christmas isn’t my favourite time of year by a long shot. Yeah, I’m Humbug on Wheels. However, this year I have at least got into the spirit somewhat by offering up a 49 track slice of audio disorder. Call it a holy mess if you’re that way inclined. It might distract you from the yuletide excuse for moosak that gets pumped into our brains just about anywhere you go at this time of year.

Through the powers of Earl Grey tea I am posting, not once, but twice in a day. Shocking stuff.
‘Tape‘ is a new label launching on the 24th of September. The same day should see the vinyl release of the first ‘Robots with Hearts‘ ep on Tape with and Animals on Wheels ep fairly soon afterwards. It’s all very exciting.
I recently did a remix for another Tape artist called Theo Bard. He’s a London based singer songwriter with plenty of lyrical talent. His first ep on Tape will contain the original song but my remix is already available as an early bit of promotion for the label. Grab it here:

Two sodding months and I’ve posted nothing. Self-promotion isn’t a skill I can say I have in abundance. No. I’m good at hiding and being quiet.
