I tend to overwork music and make loads of versions of a tune before deciding they’re all shit. One of these tunes is called ‘Dumb moving’. The original used a nice sample from The Falls ‘Hip Priest’ but the one on this EP doesn’t. This version is the bastard cousin of the original. Actually, it’s about 5 versions edited together. It’s certainly a bastard.
Two versions of ‘Indeed’ as well. Spot the difference. Fun for all.

I’m lucky as far as eyesight goes. I had an eye test fairly recently and my vision is pretty sharp. Shame the same can’t always be said about my brain. Focus and direction. Now where are those signposts?
More acoustic noise here. All the ambient backgrounds are due to the mic I use. I think I’ve written about it before. A ‘Realistic’ (Tandy) PZM thing which wants to capture anything within a 5 mile radius.
I’ve had some fun times in Belgium. It’s a country with lots of people who have a passion for culture, music and making the best beer in the world.
This EP is for all those nice people I’ve met in Belgium. Thanks for putting up with me. May your beer always be frothy.

I’m not going to explain the sentiments to ep’s title. It’s inspiration from a mix of real life events. We all have our friendship stories.
The music is from a few years ago. Lots of acoustic sounds. I had a thing for this bashed up red guitar given to me by a friend. It’s a rubbish guitar but I love it. Creaky, squeaky and just a bit out of tune, however carefully you play it it fights back.
To celebrate my ongoing obscurity and lack of required confidence to promote myself around the world, I give you 8 Animals on Wheels ep’s spread over 8 weeks.
I’ve got loads of music sat about and I don’t see anyone jumping to release it any time soon so why not give it away. Original idea eh?
The good thing about doing this is that I can choose whatever I want without feeling like there’s someone else to please. Little to no mastering and no worries about promotion or sales. Enjoy or send to the recycle bin, the choice is yours.
I’m going to release it all under the AoW moniker. Just because.
