I finally got round to watching ‘King of Kong’ the other day. I love watching well made documentaries and this one is incredible well paced, poignant and fun. It’s one of those films which is enjoyable from start to finish and then sticks in your head for some time afterwards.
At the heart of the film is the age old story of good vs evil. Now, I’m sure Billy Mitchell isn’t that evil in real life but you can’t help but think he’s a little bit dodgy. Great hair though.
‘King of Kong’ conveys the feeling a lot of folks have that it’s often the people with the biggest egos, the attitude and the arrogance who get the attention they possibly don’t deserve. Hope that doesn’t come across as bitter. Hehe. I like being the underdog. Honestly.
